Rev. Dr. Kevin W. James, Senior Pastor New Creation Bible Fellowship, Tracy, CA.

Dr. James is married to Gwendolyn and is the father of two sons: Jontae and Drake. In 2007, he founded New Creation Bible Fellowship church in Tracy CA. The focus of Dr. James’ ministry is to equip and encourage the people of God through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. In 2011, Dr. James founded the Restoration Center, a 501c3 nonprofit providing intervention, and sports camps to at-risk students on school campuses.

Currently, Dr. James is the Secretary of the National African American Fellowship of the SBC and President of the California African American Fellowship. In addition, he serves on the Executive Board of the California Southern Baptist Convention and Delta Valley Southern Baptist Association, Moreover, he is a member of the Tracy Unified School District Diversity & Equity Committee. Dr. James’ church is a Service Provider for the City of Tracy Mayor’s Community Youth Support Network.

Dr. James believes continued education is important in order to be effective in ministry and he has received several certifications from organizations such as Coach Approach Ministries as a Certified Christian Leadership Coach, California Southern Baptist Convention as a Count The Cost Champion, Coursera Google as an IT Support Professional, and International Institute for Restorative Practices for Basic Restorative Practices
