Can you believe it? Episode 300 drops today! We’re celebrating six amazing years of podcasting together. As we reflected on how to mark this milestone, one question kept coming to mind: What have been the biggest aha moments from our journey so far? It quickly became clear we couldn’t fit them all into one episode. So—we made an executive decision. We’re taking two episodes, 300 and 301, to unpack the six most powerful aha moments we’ve experienced over the past six years.

Aha Moment #1: Joy and pain often travel alongside each other

  • It’s possible to experience two divergent emotions simultaneously.
  • Life is never all good nor all bad.
  • Rejoice when things go well. Grieve when they don’t.

Aha Moment #2: The world is big enough for all of us to succeed

  • The world is big enough for all of us to succeed.
  • More opportunities exist than people poised to take advantage of those opportunities.
  • The achievements of others don’t diminish yours.
  • Practice being happy when good things happen to other people.

Aha Moment #3: Finding convergence requires: steps of faith, sacrifice, and consistency

  • Terry Walling: “Convergence is the focused time when a Christ-follower reaches the end, only to discover a unique contribution: the net result of years of formation and life experience.  Convergence involves the coming together of “who” God has shaped an individual to be and a sense of “for this I was born. It’s the time when all of who a Christ-follower is meets what God has assigned him or her to do.”
  • Steps of Faith (Risk): More people play it safe in life than take calculated risks.
  • Sacrifice: Living and working in the intersection of our passion, pain, and proficiency requires us to give up some things.
  • Consistency: A huge part of success and fruitfulness is simply showing up consistently and giving your best effort.

We hope these three aha moments encourage you, stretch you, and motivate you today!
